Retake a Certification level

Restart progress and try again from scratch

When a certification is linked to a Level, users may be allowed to retake it. Retaking a Level clears all progress for that Level, allowing the user to start fresh. This is useful if the user didn’t achieve the desired results and wants to improve their performance.

How it works

• A Restart/Retake button appears for eligible levels.
• Clicking the button clears all progress in that level, including step completions and quiz results.
• The user can go through the level again from the beginning, completing all steps, quizzes, and challenges.
• Once they meet the certification requirements, the certification is awarded (or re-awarded).

Example

A user is working on the Platinum Partner level, which requires 100% completion and at least 85% correct quiz answers. They complete the level but only score 70% on quizzes. By using the Restart button, their progress is reset to 0% and they can reattempt the entire level to meet the requirement.

Note for admins‍

Only levels attached to a certification can be retaken. The retake option is enabled or disabled in the level’s settings by an admin.
